Li Ka-Shing: boss of leadership

My company from 1950 a few small company till today in 52 countries around the world with more than 20 000 employees of the enterprise. I dare not compared with those of management guru, I have no opportunity to go to school, study hard all your life, bitter pursuit of new knowledge and new knowledge. Management is there art? in this regard, I have my own ideas and experience.

I often ask myself, do you want to be a boss or when a team leader? General, boss simpler, powers mainly from position from opportunity or by virtue of your efforts and expertise; do leaders is more complex, your power to originate from the human nature of the charm and appeal.

Leaders leading the crowd, let others willing to hard; boss only dominating the crowd to make others feel small.

Dynamic self-management has a static

In my view, to become good managers, the first task is to manage themselves, in a changing world, discover who you are, what you want to be informed of their appearance, the establishment of personal dignity.

Self-management is a static control. Different stages in life, often reflect on ourselves, what do I do? I have ambitious dream dreams, but I understand what is temperate warm? I have and fate determination and hard work, but I have not the courage in the face of fear? I am confident that, given the chance, but there is no wisdom? I believe ability, but not in the face of good times, bad can just act effort?

14-year-old, when I was a poor boy, my own management method is very simple: I have to earn enough family survival. I know there is no knowledge cannot change the destiny, no capital or overly ambitious, I often remember my grandmother's lament: "Ah Shing, we could like Chaozhou city someone so rich?"

I have said, the enterprise should look for in a robust development by leaps and bounds, the headline of small points including open source on the throttle, supervision and governance to creative and empowered, intuition on Science, known only to the infinite development, but not limited to this.
